Only a short flight by small plane from either Anchorage, Soldotna or Homer, Silver Salmon Creek Lodge is a unique Alaskan vacation destination. Our modern facility, complete with a generator system, sauna, showers and freezers include double occupancy rooms in the main lodge, the newly rennovated Iliamna House "annex lodge"--great for groups up to 6--and a nearby deluxe tent camp, set up on a pristine wilderness stream with majestic Mt. Iliamna as a back-drop.

Parties of 3 or more can fly in from Anchorage while parties of 1 or 2 depart from Soldotna or Homer, which are accessed from Anchorage by a scenic drive or commuter airlines which fly several times daily. We can also help you with overnight accommodations in Soldotna.

The small tidally-affected streams we fish provide unequaled spin and fly-cast opportunities for silver salmon, chum and pink salmon & dolly varden char.

Our 25' charter boat takes anglers to offshore halibut grounds with high success rates and all gear provided. Vacuum seal machines insure your catch will be properly processed.

Other activities include our popular bear viewing/photography program, boat visits to nearby sea-bird rookeries, sea-kayaking, fossil exploring along an ancient Jurassic seabed, clam digging for succulent razor clams, canoeing, hiking, beach-combing, and wilderness tent camping.

Items to bring include layered clothing (average mid 50 temps), hip boots, raincoat, camera/film, sunglasses, bug repellent, and fishing gear. Fishing licenses and medium action spin rod/reel for rent are available.

A 50% deposit is required for overnight accommodations with a 50% refund returned if notification of cancellation is received within 60 days of a scheduled trip. Balance of payment is due prior to leaving the lodge with all 3 major credit cards accepted. Trip cancellation insurance is recommended and costs do not include gratuities.
